At Surfing Moms HQ, we know how hard it can be to coordinate a group week after week! Our awesome coordinators truly run this organization showing up at local surf breaks with snacks and flags hoping others come. Remember you only need one other person to show-up to make the surf-swap a success. We are here to support you! 

We have a great opportunity to help you grow your group, reach new members, and increase cohesion and community. 

These Regional Budgets are on a rolling basis and you can apply at any time HERE

Any current Surfing Moms Group Coordinator can apply for a Regional Budget on the group’s behalf. The maximum amount to request is $200 per budget (with a cap of one budget per group per calendar year). 

There are no specific guidelines; we welcome you to apply for funding for whatever will bring value to your group. Some ideas include (but are not in any way limited to!): social events (family or mama-only BBQs, movie nights, ladies night out, etc.), group surf lesson for kids, group surf lesson for mamas, surf-skate lesson, weekend surf retreat, family or mamas-only surf camping trip, beach clean up, a beach shade tent, partnering with existing surf contests or surf orgs, and more. The ocean is limitless, and so are the possibilities. :)  

After the event/activity/purchase, we will ask the coordinator to take some photos to share with our community. You will also be asked to submit final receipts for reimbursement and a small spending form for how the budget was used.
