Surfing Moms: Beyond the Swap is for those who want the community and connection—without participating in childcare swaps. This space welcomes women who wants to surf, connect, and support maternal well-being. We believe the ocean is for every woman, at every stage of life.
What is Beyond the Swap?
You’ll still be part of the same supportive, welcoming community—just without the reciprocal childcare exchange.

Moms with older or school-aged kids
Moms with childcare already in place
Expecting moms preparing for postpartum
Women in all life stages, including peri/post menopause
A woman returning to surfing after a break
Or someone who wants to support and be part of a maternal-centered community
How It works
Two ways to participate:
Option 1: Join Existing Meetups
Attend regular Surfing Moms meetups alongside members using Surf Swap.
Show up and surf
No childcare duties
Connect with members in and out of the water
Option 2: Start a Beyond the Swap Group
Create and lead a child-free Surfing Moms meetup in your area.
Coordinate surf meetups focused on time in the water
Build your own local crew
