Dear Surfing Moms,

Whether you’ve been part of Surfing Moms for a week or for years, we want to hear from you! As we work to better understand our impact on our members, their families, and our broader communities, we’re partnering with our sister organization in Australia, Surfing Mums, on a research survey.

A team of researchers who are also Surfing Mums and Moms is exploring questions like: What does Surfing Moms mean to you and your family? What benefits have you experienced? What barriers or challenges have you faced? And what value does the organization bring to local communities?

This is the first study of its kind. The findings will help us understand what makes Surfing Moms meaningful, where we can improve, and how we can make participation more accessible. Your responses will also help us demonstrate our social impact, strengthen partnerships, and support future grant applications.

For every valid completed survey, the research team will donate $2 to a nonprofit organization of your choice, including Surfing Moms, Surfing Mums, Save the Children, or Surfrider Foundation. You’ll also have the opportunity to express interest in follow-up focus groups to explore these experiences in greater depth.

The survey is open to current and past Surfing Moms members, family members, sponsors, funders, collaborators, and members of our broader communities. Please share it with anyone who might like to participate!
